Description: Erich permanent magnetic pulley is a dual purpose device. It functions as drive pulley for the belt conveyor and at the same time provide effective, automatic and continuous removal of tramp metal from a material flow.
The permanent magnetic pulley is basically composed by a set of rolled milled steel pole shoes of high permeability. Permanent magnets either strontium ferrite or high power rare-earth magnets are used. The magnet is of bi-polar nature with its field intensity uniformly distributed across the entire surface. Magnets are covered with aluminum or stainless steel shell and are bolted to heavy duty stainless steel end flanges and mounted to a sheet shaft. Available diameters from 250 to 1500mm and width up to 2000mm.
